Emmepi Group Honoured by AIRC for Dedication to Cancer Research

Last week, at the distinguished Sala dei Notari in Perugia, Emmepi Group was honoured with an award from the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research, recognising the steadfast support we have provided over the years. 

The event, titled "Towards a Pact for Research: AIRC and the Local Community United Against Cancer," underscored the vital role of collaboration between science, institutions and citizens in accelerating the future of healthcare. This initiative is part of AIRC’s longstanding effort to foster dialogue and strengthen partnerships with local communities, recognising scientific innovation as a crucial investment in public health and the nation's future.

In the past five years, the AIRC Foundation has significantly contributed to the region of Umbria, funding numerous research projects and programmes, including fellowships and a Physician Scientist position. The high success rate of AIRC Investigator Grant projects in the region further highlights the excellence and competitiveness of the cancer research conducted in the region.

We are honoured to receive recognition from the AIRC Foundation for our longstanding commitment to supporting cancer research. Over the years, we have proudly contributed to numerous initiatives and made significant donations aimed at advancing scientific discoveries in this critical field.
